Lil Wayne is figuring out how to love

Interesting track from Lil Wayne this How To Love release. I did not expect this from him at all but for some reason I enjoyed it. Maybe it's because it's so different from what we usually hear and I can appreciate him giving us a new sound... but that doesn't mean the whole album should sound like this.

Music for the soul from Ayo

I've been listening to Ayo all morning. She is a very talented Paris-based artist who was born in Germany with Nigerian origins. Beautiful and refreshing voice, great melody and powerful lyrics is how I would describe her music. Here are a couple tracks I particularly liked, these are from her first album Joyful, she released two more since which means many more songs to check out.

J. Cole is teasing us with a couple tracks while we're PATIENTLY waiting for him to finally drop his lead single and album. I'm very excited to hear some new music from him. I can hardly wait to see what he has in store for us in this album, he is taking his time with it which to me is a good sign... some incredible music coming our way!

These two tracks are very different and I like them for different reasons. When I first heard "Disgusting" I wasn't too crazy about it, but the beat and hook are very addicting plus he has a few very strong lines in there... So, was he simply having fun with this one or is he mocking the current state of hip hop? Hmm...

The song isn't very memorable to me though, definitely not a favorite especially the hook that is way too bubblegum sounding, but interesting play of word in the title!
